The Gerber 22-80111 Carnivore Headlamp driven by two AA batteries is great for people who like to hunt. Although I’m not a hunter myself, I have bought three units for my dad and brothers.

The headlamp is great because it keeps your hands free to do what hunters do, such as when you need your hands for bow hunting or rifle hunting. You can wear the headlamp by using the one of the provided headbands. If you are a baseball cap wearer like my brothers, you can clip them directly on the bill.
Blood trails from wounded game can be easily tracked with the help of Gerber 22-80111 Carnivore Headlamp. The blue/ red light output illuminates blood well for you to follow and dispatch your prey.
The only drawback that I’ve heard so far from the men is that the battery life is not that great. They usually have to pack extra batteries with them whenever they go out for the hunt. One of my brother complained that even though it’s great, it dampers his ability to stretch his allowances just to get the batteries.
Other than the minor drawback, they love that the Gerber 22-80111 Carnivore Headlamp is lightweight and bright. Even I’ve found it useful for grill duty during one of our many barbecue nights.
